Does Steeltech keep our drawings confidential?

A: We put a great emphasis on keeping both our drawings and our customer’s drawings confidential.

What if I don’t have drawings for the product I need?

A: This is not a problem – simply send in your old parts and we will reverse-engineer the parts free of charge.

Is engineering of a new design available?

A: Yes, we have a talented engineering team with the ability to create new designs or improve upon your current design, using the latest state-of-the-art engineering software.

When can Steeltech be contacted?

A: We believe in customer support beyond your expectations, which is why we offer a toll free customer support line where you can talk to a human being 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What is the lead time for orders?

A: Lead times vary depending on the part requested. Our average lead time is 3-4 weeks, but if an expedited service is needed we are capable of producing parts in a matter of days, if not the very same day. We also stock furnace replacement parts for any unexpected part failures.

Does Steeltech stock furnace parts?

A: Yes, we have a stocking program for major alloy furnace components, roller rails, rollers, chain guides, fans, and radiant tubes.

Does Steeltech offer products that can reduce my energy consumption and improve my bottom line?

A: Steeltech is constantly searching for ways to improve our customer’s bottom line. This is why we have created our Alternative Energy Saving (AES) Radiant Tubes, which have been proven to reduce energy costs in excess of 20% while reducing ramp-up times.

The life of our current serpentine trays is very short, is there another option?

A: Yes, this is why we created the Cast-Fab grid for vacuum furnaces. Due to its individual component parts and inherent strength of the cast structure, Cast-Fab trays are able to retain their flatness and greatly extend service life.

What types of payment options do you offer?

A: To make it more convenient for our customers, we now accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards. We also offer standard payment terms with the proper credit approval. Using your scrap alloy as a form of payment is also an option.

Does Steeltech purchase scrap alloy?

A: Yes, we offer an alloy exchange program. The scrap can be used as a credit towards current or future orders. We are also willing to purchase your scrap alloy for cash.
